Azerbaijan visa requirements for a paper application or offline visa

The offline or paper application also referred to as the traditional visa may require the following documents. Please note, these requirements may vary when the visitor is sponsored by an Azeri resident.

  • Application form approved by an appropriate authority of executive power. (Sample Form)
  • Valid passport or another travel document along with copies of the biodata page of the passport

Note: The validity period of a passport must exceed the validity period the expected visa by at least 3 months

  • Two colour photographs (3x4cm), which matches with the biometric identification requirements
  • A copy of the medical insurance certificate in the case where the host does not undertake to pay for medical services of the visitor
  • A receipt or a document certifying payment of the applicable visa fee
  • An application to be submitted by the inviting person, which is approved by any appropriate authority of the executive power
  • In the case of a non-governmental organisation, a document stating the purpose of inviting the visitor

2. Is my visa fee refundable?
