An Act further to amend the Andhra Pcadesh
Public Libraries Act, 1960.
, Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly
of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the Thirty-
Eighth Year of the Republic of Indiaasfollows:-
- (1) This Act may be called the Andhra ~!:;rt tltle
Pradesh Public ~braries(hendment) , Act, 1987. and con-
mencement.
(I!:; I?. :ihsll come into force on such
date as the State Government, may, by notifica-
tion in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette-appoint. - In the Andhra Pradesh Public Libraries Amendment
Act, 1960 (hereinafter referred toas the Princi- of Sectton 3,
pal ~ct),in Section 3, in sub-section (2), in Act VlII of
clause (a), for the words “Minister incharge of 1960.
Education”, the words “Minister incharge of
Iibraries” shall be substituted.
*Received the assent of the Governor on the, 12th
